Staycation - Potter's Ridge Hotel, Tagaytay

Taal Lake's foggy silhouette

I have been wanting to take a break from the summer heat and humid weather for a much needed cool breeze getaway and Tagaytay's high altitude offers that much needed time out. The planning part for the overnight stay was a quick 1 hour of web search from Agoda where I found a very good place to stay with a fellow friend and travel fan herself. These two Taurus will be spending some bonding time together spending their birthdays for an easy escape and slow down away from the city's crazy pressures.

Here are some more photos taken during an overnight stay in Potter's Ridge Hotel in Tagaytay.

Funny thing is, I miss my laptop especially when we found ourselves doing nothing and wifi can be accessed in most parts of the hotel. If I can work online and still get a good view of Taal lake and Batangas coastline, that would be a perfect outdoor office set up. As someone who works from home, my laptop is my bread and butter - giving me the opportunity to work whenever and wherever I may be. I embrace this sort of nomadic lifestyle but just like other mouse potatoes, I must confess, I do get burn out and sometimes thinks of hiring a personal assistant san francisco to help me do my tasks.

But at the end, I did enjoy the break and Tagaytay's invigorating climate - misty mountains, occasional rain showers and the breathtaking sunrise. Read more about this staycation

  1. It’s nice that you are sharing with your travel tour In Tagaytay; thus, it was very wonderful post. I really appreciate what you did in your blog. Nice photo also and I think travel in this place was so exciting and much happy. That hotel was great and it gives fresh air because of many trees.
