I've been to Davao just twice. First was in 1994 where the whole family along with other relatives from Manila enjoyed an overnight stay to one of the beaches near Davao City immediately after arriving at Davao International Airport. The second visit happened 3 years ago but for just a short day visit. Let me share with you some photos captured by my brother who visited Samal Island last month with some of my relatives in Mindanao.

An LCT connecting Samal island with Davao primarily carries the Island Express buses. Also carries private cars and trucks. Photos below were taken at Bluewaters Beach Resort which is centrally located along Samal Island coast, Davao Gulf.
Below photos were taken at Plaza Azalea, Davao's premier residential resort community located in Limao, Samal Island. I learned that an older cousin of mine recently bought a property here, that means bigger chances of me staying here for longer summer in the future.
